Side B is comprised specifically of urban field recordings divided into segments X and Y. X consists of raw and unaltered recordings made using a broken digital voice recorder. Y is an edit of X wherein pops and clicks removed from that recording have been isolated, in effect mapping points of congruity between digital error and original sound source.” – from the label.
