Dear Friends,

Ten years ago today on March 12th, 2005, Sweat Records first opened its doors to the public!

We are so excited to have survived and thrived in Miami for this long, and we couldn’t have done it without all of you. Our annual Sweatstock festival is our way of thanking everyone for supporting us for another year. Now get ready, because this year’s Sweatstock + Record Store Day celebration on Saturday, April 18th is undoubtedly going to be the best one yet!

Without further ado… on the Main Stage we are extremely excited to announce TOBACCO as our headliner! We brought down his other band Black Moth Super Rainbow for an incredible, sold-out show a couple years ago and his albums on Anticon and Ghostly International have all been heavy sellers at the shop. This will be Tobacco’s first performance in Miami and we’re so excited that it will be at Sweatstock! Listen and watch more here: www.tobaxxo.com

Joining Tobacco on the main stage will be KRISP, MR. PAUER, DIM PAST, WASTELANDS, HAOCHI WAVES, JOHN HANCOCK III, QUARTER HORSES, BLUEJAY, and a special performance to celebrate the release of the new issue of JAI ALAI. Also on the main stage will be Daniel Reskin and the CASA DE HAHA comics, vinyl DJ sets by LE SPAM, TOM LAROC, and ALEX CASO, and loads of giveaways.

In the main stage site we’ll also have an indie vendor market and some killer food! Serving up tasty treats all day will be MS. CHEEZIOUS, IL FLORENTINO, NACHO BUSINESS, MILAGROS EMPANADAS, and SUGAR YUMMY MAMA!

We’ll be opening that day at 8am for the Record Store Day exclusives, and the live music starts at 2pm. We know this is a lot to take in, so we’re going to wait until next week to drop the full goodness of the Degeneration and Idle Hands Stage at Churchill’s!

Please RSVP on FB and last but not least, witness the amazing artwork for Sweatstock 2015 done by the insanely talented Brian Butler of The Upper Hand Art!
