So many cool things are happening through the end of October, here’s a small (but by no means comprehensive) rundown…
This Friday night is October’s Big Night In Little Haiti. Haitian music stars T-Vice will be your entertainment for the evening, Leela’s will provide delicious kreyol food to celebrate “Creole Spice”, AND there’s also an art show going on in the gallery called Too Much Is Not Enough. The whole night is free and the full info can be found here, and the after-party is around the corner at 7th Circuit Studios.
Sunday is the 3rd Annual Gables Bike Day. Miracle Mile will be closed to cars and there are a ton of neat activities planned, including bike polo demonstrations, safety workshops, a farmer’s market, a live performance by Nil Lara, and more. Admission is free and you can find the full info here.
On Friday, October 25th is Grammy “Future Now”, presented by the Florida Chapter of the Recording Academy. It’s free for Recording Academy members so if you’re in the industry this is a great extra reason to join. The flier below is a little hard to read so you can find the full info here.
The night of the 25th O Cinema at Miami Shores is playing Rocky Horror Picture Show! Should be a scream… info here.
Saturday, October 26th is Locust Project’s annual Smash and Grab Fundraiser.
Last but not least don’t forget Kurt Vile with Beach Fossils on November 1st and Thee Oh Sees at The Stage on November 4th! As always stay tuned to our Events page, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for the latest show news, giveaways, and other local goings-on. Cheers!
