Wolf Parade Giveaway

Montreal indie rock band WOLF PARADE take the stage at the Fillmore this Wednesday night!  Their three albums on Sub Pop have gotten them compared to everyone from Bowie to Modest Mouse (makes sense as Isaac Brock produced their first one).  If you’re not familiar, check out their cannon-filled Victorian video for “I’ll Believe Anything” below:

Next Friday (11/12), FAU hosts the opening reception for Raymond Pettibon: The Punk Years, 1978-86 (running until January 22). The exhibition features the early graphic work of artist Ray Pettibon, who designed some of the most iconic record covers, flyers and zines from hardcore punk’s first wave. Schmidt Gallery on FAU’s Boca Raton Campus/777 Glades Rd. Opening is from 6 to 8.
