YEASAYER are playing tonight at the Fillmore! Never heard of them? Well allow us to introduce you…
I first heard their track “2080” a few years ago and was entranced by its poppy-yet-other-worldly feel. Their debut All Hour Cymbals made it’s way into heavy rotation around the shop, and this February their sophomore album Odd Blood was released with great tracks like “Ambling Alp” and “O.N.E.”, which you’ve definitely heard if you’ve caught even one of my sets at Fridays at The Vagabond this year.
They’ve toured with Beck, MGMT, tons more, and I keep getting random people from literally all over the world telling me how impressive and energetic they are live. Not only that but local duo extraordinaire ANR will be opening for them along with WVUM favorites WASHED OUT!
Doors are at 7.30 and the show starts at 8.30. Tickets are still available and a great deal for three great bands. Hope to see you all tonight, get acquainted with everyone via with the clips below…
