This week we are giving you not one but TWO chances to win tickets to Monday night’s Swell Season show at the Fillmore!
If you haven’t heard the Swell Season, they are Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova. In the Academy Award-winning film ONCE they play “Guy” and “Girl” – two musicians who meet in Dublin and bond as they create beautiful music together. It’s a wonderful film, highly recommended!
Anyway, you can win tickets to see them live by commenting below – we’ll choose a winner at random Friday at noon – or you can come to Can You Rock A Little Softer? Thursday night at Sweat and we’ll be doing a live drawing for a second pair.

“Falling Slowly” is an incredible song. It’s one of those “get your prozac before hearing” type of songs. Beautiful in it’s melancholia.
I loved it when they demanded more time to speak at the Academy Awards after being cut short. They’re awesome!
“Once” was the best film of 2007

Loved Once. One of the greatest low-key musicals ever! Their music is some of the most melancholy I’ve ever heard.
