Remember Merck Records’ Machinedrum?

MACHINEDRUM performs live at (((SHAKE))) for GET LOW this Thursday night at The Vagabond!

After helping launch Miami’s awesome (but now defunct) Merck Records, Travis Stewart aka Machinedrum made his way to New York. He’s been blowing up over there with his label Normrex. Check out this video from the album “Want to 1 2?” he put out last year.

Years before Glitch Hop became it’s own hot genre, this guy was creating it as an experiment, so it’ll be exciting to see where he’s at now. Download this mixtape he did for Lucky Me where he takes his style to some old school Miami bass.

Also performing at (((SHAKE))) GET LOW are Schematic Records founder Romulo Del Castillo, Afro Monk, Gooddroid, Bunnyfuzz, and of course Juan BassHead. MCs Jumanji + The Nome hype the action, while VJ Munkz provides the visual stimulation. RSVP to for reduced cover before 11. Do your job.
