By now you’ve all heard about the fact that we’ve got West Palm Beach’s SURFER BLOOD at Fridays at The Vagabond tomorrow, that they’ve been featured in the New York Times, by Rolling Stone, a recent lead story for the Broward New Times, and that scrooge-y old Pitchfork made their single “Swim” number 37 on their list of the top tracks of the year.
What you haven’t heard, is that Sweat and The Vagabond have teamed up with IronForge Press to make a sick silk-screened limited edition poster for the show!
Using an image of a decorator crab from our friends Coral Morphologic, the poster will be pressed on thick light blue stock with insanely bright neon pink ink, subtle glow-in-the-dark touches, and other nifty quirks that aren’t done justice in the above jpg (as IronForge said “Unfortunately, there is no easy way to accurately show those colors on screen.”)
We’ll have a limited quantity of posters available at the show and the shop, or you’ll be able to purchase it through IronForge’s site sometime soon.
Now back to the show! Surfer Blood are playing live tomorrow in the main room with Holiday Shores who are also awesome and also Floridian – go 27th state! $2 PBR or Rolling Rock drafts until midnight and the earlier you get there the cheaper the cover is. See you tomorrow!
