Props are in order, because Miami’s own homegrown jazzy hip hop crew ARTOFFICIAL just took first place at the Florida Grammy Showcase in Orlando! If you somehow haven’t seen them live or heard their funky groove yet, check out their myspace page and catch them at one of their next shows.
Props too to runners-up Awesome New Republic and the other finalists – Will Quinlain & The Diviners, Spinlight City, Tristan & The Juice and Serena Serrano. These 6 rose to the top of over 400 entries to represent a diverse range of Florida musicians and all the performances were SOLID. Congrats to everyone!
