Balancing film and classical music, the artistry of Italian composer and pianist Ludovico Einaudi puts a premium on melody. At his Arsht Center premiere, he will present an anthology of his greatest successes, including compositions for the films Intouchables, Black Swan, and Mommy as well as a compilation of works from his latest album, Elements.
Einaudi is the most streamed classical artist in the world. He recently occupied all of the top 10 positions on the iTunes classical singles chart and he has 400,000 followers on Spotify, which is more than Beethoven or Mozart. His fans include Nicki Minaj, Iggy Pop, Ricky Gervais, and pianist Lang Lang.
