Happy Friday! We just wanted to take a second to thank O Cinema and everyone who came last night to the sold out 30th Anniversary screening of the Talking Heads’ 1984 concert film Stop Making Sense.

It was an awesome time – we started off by giving away prizes including posters, a pair of tickets to see St. Vincent (thanks Fillmore!), and a Blu-ray DVD of the film signed by the Talking Heads themselves. The movie itself was of course great and had everyone bopping in their seats and clapping along with the audience after every song.

Thanks also to Brick House Miami for hosting the offer party and giving out free drinks to our attendees.

Our next film in Sweat + O Music Movie Series is David Bowie is on 9/23 which is already more than 60% sold so get your tickets now. In October we’ve got Nas’ Time Is Illmatic (date TBA), and November 20th brings Pulp: A Film About Life, Death and Supermarkets. See you at the movies!
