Holy mountains of records, the best day of the whole year is tomorrow: Record Store Day 2014 and Sweatstock #5! Of course there will be lots of exclusive records to get at in the morning, but the spirit of the day is about celebrating record stores as part of their local communities and we’d love for all of you to join us.
FYI we’ll be closing at 7pm tonight to get ready for the big event.
Today take a listen to South Florida Arts Beat on WLRN to hear us talk about RSD and some of the bands playing Sweatstock. It’s on from 1-2pm on 91.3 FM.
Tomorrow Emerge Miami will be running the bike valet starting at 2pm so we encourage you to ride your bikes (or carpool) as parking is limited.
Here’s a sneak preview of this year’s awesome Sweatstock tees! They’re designed by Brian Butler of The Upper Hand Art and printed by eco-friendly screen printing lab Squeegee Science in Ft. Lauderdale. Our volunteers will be wearing them and we’ll also have extras for sale this year!
The rest of the info is on the flier below and we’ve even added on some extra giveaways from O Cinema and Coral Gables Art Cinema! Stick to the main stage where Casa de Haha‘s Daniel Reskin will be giving it all away.
RSVP here and we’ll see you tomorrow!
