So today is a very special day as it’s Sweat Records’ actual 8th birthday! We opened our doors for the first time on Saturday, March 12th, 2005 with over 500 friends and family, live performances by Otto Von Schirach, The Remnants and Seven Star, a Chinese dragon dance for good luck, and of course, a bounce house.
Hard to believe it’s been the better part of a decade already… We’re so thankful for all the support over the years, we wouldn’t have made it this far without you!
That said, the official big celebration for our #8 is Sweatstock 4 and Record Store Day 2013 on Saturday, April 20th! To bring it full circle, we’ve got Miami maestro OTTO VON SCHIRACH headlining the Main Stage, leading a pack of South Florida’s best acts.
