Sweat Records opened its doors on March 12, 2005 so we are officially SEVEN YEARS OLD!

However, the party hasn’t started just yet…  Go now and mark your calendars for Saturday, April 21st for Record Store Day 2012 and our third SWEATSTOCK festival/block party/anniversary celebration!

We’re excited to announce an incredible array of amazing local acts will be in the house, along with some of Miami’s best food trucks, DJs (via the MAM’s awesome Soundbomb Bus), giveaways, surprises and of course the awesome Record Store Day exclusive releases that are ONLY available to independent music stores.

The main stage will feature Miami electro-pop-stars AFROBETA along with DEAF POETS, KRISP, PSYCHIC MIRRORS, KETCHY SHUBY, PLAINS, ARBOLES LIBRES, THE STATE OF and JESSE JACKSON performing with a full band!

Next door, Churchill’s will be open all day with NO COVER.  The Inside Stage will be hosted by Beached Miami while Roofless Records will be curating a night of beautiful weirdness to the Patio Stage.  Click the link here or up top in the menu bar for pics, bios, and the full rundown of goodness, it’ll be updated as more and more gets announced!

Once again Sweatstock is totally frickin’ FREE thanks to Heineken and The Knight Foundation. Biking and carpooling is highly encouraged, and the only thing we ask is that you don’t bring booze on premises (there’s Churchill’s for that).

Thanks for seven awesome years and see you on April 21st!
