There are not one but TWO really cool vegan events this weekend. First, on Saturday evening Brickell’s CHOICES CAFE celebrates their grand opening! Check out the FB event page for the full info – it’s a three-venue fiesta with food, music and more.
Second, November’s Waffle Party is on Sunday! Come out 11am to 3pm for a made-to-order vegan Belgian waffle and our smorgasbord of great toppings. In addition, this month Emerge Miami is co-presenting a book swap. Bring up to five good books to share and get something new to read.
Also this weekend is the always-awesome Miami Book Fair International street fair so stop by there too!

Will Potter, author of “Green is the New Red” (www.greenisthenewred.com) is scheduled to speak at the Miami Book Fair on Sunday at 11:00am. He’s a great speaker (there would still be time to stop by Sweat Records for some waffles after the book fair!).
