That’s if you’ll believe this graphic video for “Big Problem” done by Lucas Levya of the Borscht Film Festival…
ANR “Big Problem” (NSFW Slasher Music Video Version)
Well, judging by the end of that we should be safe tonight! Unless awesome music can hurt you, and if that’s the case you shouldn’t be at Fridays at The Vagabond in the first place. Hot off the heels of big tour dates through NY, Chicago, Montreal, DC and beyond, ANR returns home to perform live before embarking on a string of UK dates!
Everyone participating in the Critical Mass ride tonight gets in free!
If you’re going to see Interpol at the Fillmore tonight, you can bring your ticket to get in for $5.
Come early and get tipsy on $1 Stella drafts from 10 to 11, $3 PRB Tallboys 11 to midnight, and the $5 shot special after that. Doors open at 10pm. Come as you are!

Did you know that the world-renowned Scratch DJ Academy has a school in Miami? Well they do and it’s just down the road from Sweat, right in the Design District (2 NE 40th St, Suite 304 to be exact).

If you’ve been thinking about getting behind some decks or just want to hone your skills, Scratch Miami’s Spring 2 Term is now open for registration! Classes begin May 14th and fill up fast. Course offerings include beginner, intermediate and advanced level classes for DJing, mixing, beatmaking, scratching, live production and more. The full schedule is right here.
What’s best is that your instructors are some of Miami’s best DJs! This term Irie, Craze, LAZ, Tom Laroc, Grand Master Dee, Maseo, or Le Spam could be leading your class.
They also have some free open DJ classes on May 4th, 5th, 10th and 11th from 7-8pm, just RSVP at www.scratch.com. For more info, call 305.576.3868 or email info-miami@scratch.com
