Akron/Family’s fifth album was composed and arranged in a cabin near a live volcano in Akan National Park in Hokkaido, Japan and recorded at an abandoned train station in Detroit. Moving away from their acid-folk roots, they explore new territories on S/T II, spanning avant-rock, funk and percussive prog.
