January 13: Steven Blush brings American Hardcore to Sweat

Sweat Records and Roofless Rex proudly present an evening with American Hardcore: A Tribal History author, Steven Blush. Steve will present on – you guessed it – American hardcore, complete with a slide show. Seating starts at 8pm and is first come, first serve. The event is free and all ages are welcome. Facebook RSVP : Click here for an interview with Steven Blush in Miami New Times.

American Hardcore is an essential record of punk’s transition toward an even faster, more deranged version of it’s already histrionic sound and style. Following the dialogue-based format of music histories such as Please Kill Me: The Uncensored Oral History of Punk, Steven Blush collects, edits and arranges a deluge of outstanding, informative interviews with o.g. hardcore’s key players.

More info about American Hardcore and Steven Blush after the jump.
