Dear bands, visual artists, crafters, artisans, designers, creatives (and patrons of the arts)!
In the next couple months, Sweat Records is proud to announce that we will be launching the South Florida-centric SWEAT WEBSTORE to bring our local creative output to the masses! This project has been a long time in the works and we’re so excited to be able to share it with you, and soon.
Our goal is to be the mail order back end for all the local creatives – taking care of the hassle of packing, shipping, payments and tracking SO YOU DON’T HAVE TO. This will allow all of you to keep making the awesome music and art you do without having to worry about making it to the post office on time, running out of bubble wrap or other annoying book-keeping you probably don’t want to deal with.
We’ve been building the store piece by piece for the last several months and now we are calling for a final push to stock our virtual (and physical of course) shelves. If your music/art/t-shirts/handmade wonderfulness/hot sauce/etc. isn’t at the store – bring it to us!
[Also - local bands: if you don't have any merch for us to sell in the store, MAKE SOME. One of the biggest requests we get in the shop is for local t-shirts, records, stickers, etc. It's a great way to let your fans spread the word and of course make extra money at your gigs. Just sayin'.]
Come anytime during store hours and we’ll accept your items. For music it needs to be in actual packaging (or REALLY nice handmade packaging) and as far as other stuff we’re not taking perishables or non-vegan items but we’re going to look at everything else on a case-by-case basis.
