Is the tragic, mismanaged mess of the oil spill making you sick to your stomach too? At the very least, you can show your support by coming out Saturday morning (don’t worry, it’s not too early) for the Miami HANDS ACROSS THE SAND event!
It’s a nationwide day of action with a simple message – NO to offshore oil drilling, YES to clean energy. Head out to 5th and Ocean Drive (and hey, maybe ride your bike there). At noon everyone will join hands and form a huge line down the beach. Wearing black or dark colors is recommended.
