Lovers of art and cocktails! This Thursday evening I’m happy to be the musical entertainment at the inaugural event for the as-yet-unnamed new young patrons group at Locust Projects. Locust is a non-profit gallery space that has held incredible exhibits for the last decade, most recently the standing-room-only TM Sisters/Otto/Karelle collaboration “Whirl! Crash! Go!”
There’s a $10 cover that includes libations (do the math, you win) or you can join their group for$75 and enjoy a year’s worth of art and social events, likely involving more cocktails. It’s this Thursday from 7-9pm and you’ll get to spread out on “An Uneven Floor” – Leyden Rodriguez-Casanova‘s current exhibition of wall-to-wall fluffy pink carpeting.
