This Saturday evening Sweat is super proud to present the book release event for Miami artist BEATRIZ MONTEAVARO‘s new monograph “Quiet Village”!
According to the Miami Contemporary Artists book in which she is featured, her work is inspired by “British new wave music, science fiction, horror movies and Disney World.” Sounds good to us! You can see more for yourself here and here.
The new book, released on Gean Moreno’s non-profit [NAME] Publications, is full of her awesome drawings and comes with a soundtrack CD. The music on it is by Betty’s band BEINGS, who will be performing live at this event! Also performing will be another artist-led musical project – Clifton Childree‘s Boise Bob and His Backyard Band!
