Sweat Records + The Vagabond are beyond excited to announce that we are bringing synth-disco duo GLASS CANDY (Italians Do It Better Records) to Miami for a live performance!

Photobucket(Ida No + Johnny Jewel will rock your galaxy)

Some of you may remember we previously brought them down during Art Basel 2007 at Studio A (“Pink Candy Disco” w/ Ariel Pink, Dino Felipe + ANR).  They put on a fantastic show so if you missed it or need to see them again (as we do) here’s your chance!  They’ll be playing about a month from today on the 11th of September at Fridays at The Vagabond.  We’ll keep you posted on info for advance ticket sales and giveaway contests.

Since then they’ve toured around the globe, played Coachella, had their music sampled by Jarvis Cocker and used in Chanel’s latest runway show, amongst other things.  If you haven’t heard them, click the pic above to head to their myspace as they’ve got a ton of awesome songs up.

Dust off your best dancing shoes and mark your calendars!
